When does the school day start and end?

The school day begins promptly at 8:00am and ends at 2:20pm. Breakfast is available from 7:30am-8:00am.

How do I arrange for school bus service for my child?

School bus service is available to students beginning in kindergarten. Bussing eligibility is based on a student's grade level, walking distance between home and school, and other existing accommodations. NYC Public Schools Transportation Eligibility. How do you support students with Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)?

PS 176 can accommodate a wide range of IEPs. Currently we offer SETSS, OT (occupational therapy), PT (physical therapy), speech therapy, and counseling on-site.
